About USS Midway Museum
USS Midway Museum is a decommissioned aircraft carrier docked in San Diego where visitors tour the flight deck, hangar bay, and berthing compartments via self-guided audio tour, attend docent presentations, and explore exhibits including the flight simulator and restoration projects throughout the ship. General admission includes access to all museum activities, shops, and restaurants. Children aged 3 and younger receive free admission. Active-duty military and reservists with valid identification receive free admission at the ticket booth. Up to two children aged 4 through 12 receive free admission with one full-priced adult ticket; the museum's website lists this promotion through October 31. Online ticket purchases save visitors money compared to door prices, and buying tickets online also qualifies visitors for discounted admission at nearby Embarcadero attractions including the San Diego Maritime Museum and harbor cruise providers.
