About Western Museum of Flight

The Western Museum of Flight preserves Southern California's aviation heritage through aircraft displays, restoration projects, and hands-on learning. Visitors see and touch historic airplanes while viewing completed and in-progress restorations. The collection includes unique and prototype aircraft, target drones, piston and jet engines, aircraft components, ejection seats, World War II instruments, aircrew accessories, and extensive model aircraft. The museum runs educational programs including the Kids Aerospace Discovery Zone and Kids Love Aviation Science program, alongside a Celebrity Lecture Series. The museum is located at Torrance Airport in Torrance, California, and operates Friday through Monday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., charging admission.
