About Western Museum of Flight

The Western Museum of Flight is a non-profit institution dedicated to preserving Southern California's aviation heritage through aircraft displays and educational programs. Visitors explore unique and prototype aircraft, target drones, piston and jet aircraft engines, aircraft components, ejection seats, World War II instruments, aircrew accessories, and an extensive model aircraft collection. The museum offers an inside look at completed and in-progress aircraft restoration projects. Children have the opportunity to see and touch historic airplanes. The facility features the Kids Aerospace Discovery Zone and the Kids Love Aviation Science Program for younger visitors. The museum also hosts celebrity lecturers and a Women In Aerospace program. A museum store is available on-site. The Western Museum of Flight is located at Torrance Airport in Torrance, California.
