Thomas Paine Historical Association preserves and advances knowledge of one of the most influential figures of the Age of Revolution. Visitors explore Paine's life, writings, ideas, and continuing legacy through newly-renovated exhibits displayed in the Thomas Paine Memorial Building, constructed in 1925. The association maintains Paine's Writings Archive, a Collected Writings Project containing roughly 200 newly attributed works and 180 newly discovered letters, and a Paine Image Gallery. The building serves as a library and community gathering space for those interested in Paine's freethought ideals and his vision for a more just world. The association hosts events throughout the year, both in-person and online, highlighting Paine's life and philosophy. Visitors can tour the exhibits on Saturdays during published hours.
