About The Wild Center

The Wild Center is a museum in Tupper Lake, New York where visitors explore 115 acres of Adirondack forest and connect with nature through outdoor trails, indoor exhibits, and interactive experiences. Outside, guests walk woodland trails, canoe on the river with a guide, and visit Wild Walk, a series of bridges climbing into the forest canopy that leads to a four-story twig tree house, swinging bridges, a spider's web structure, and a full-sized eagle's nest. The Pines Play Area offers a wild forest playground for children. Patrick Dougherty's Stickwork sculpture and Forest Music trail provide additional outdoor attractions. Inside, the Climate Solutions exhibit and live animal encounters with Adirondack ambassadors engage visitors. The Fen Trail features accessible compacted gravel surfaces. Wheelchairs, walkers, and motorized scooters are available free on a first-come, first-serve basis. The museum opens daily and sells tickets online.
