About Ausable Chasm
Ausable Chasm is a natural gorge in the Adirondacks where visitors hike through primeval forest, walk natural stone pathways hundreds of feet below the rim, and float the Ausable River past towering cliffs. The Classic Tour combines a scenic nature trail past landmarks like Elephant's Head and Column Rock with a raft float through the Grand Flume and Whirlpool Basin. The Adventure Trail via ferrata features cable bridges and cliff walks for ages eight and up. The Explorer Package includes the Riverwalk Tour with suspension bridges, the Inner Sanctum trail, and a choice of tube or raft. The Premium Package adds the Adventure Trail to the Classic Tour. The Ultimate Chasm Experience bundles all activities plus rock climbing and rappelling. Tickets are sold online. The attraction is in Ausable Chasm, New York.
