About International Maple Museum Centre

International Maple Museum Centre preserves the history and evolution of the North American maple syrup industry through exhibits of antique syrup-making equipment, logging tools and related artifacts gathered from maple regions across the United States and Canada. The museum, housed in the former Leo Memorial School, displays the Lamb family's personal collection alongside items contributed by maple producers from both countries. Visitors tour exhibits tracing maple sugar and syrup production from earliest times to the present. The museum operates a dining room where volunteers serve pancakes, sausage and pure maple syrup. An annual ceremony inducts two people selected by the North American Maple Syrup Council into the American Maple Hall of Fame, recognizing contributors from the U.S. and Canada. The attraction suits families and history enthusiasts interested in learning about maple production heritage. International Maple Museum Centre is located in Croghan, New York.
