About The Coker Museum

The Coker Museum in Chattanooga's Historic Southside houses Corky Coker's personal collection of over 100 vintage vehicles. Visitors explore classic cars, hot rods, motorcycles, trucks, buses, race cars, and delivery vehicles displayed throughout a 13,000-square-foot space that also features airplanes hanging overhead. The museum shares its location with the historic Honest Charley Speed Shop, a landmark founded by a SEMA Hall of Fame inductee. Self-guided tours take about an hour and allow visitors to view rare engines and memorabilia alongside neon-lit displays. Interactive QR-code videos throughout the museum share stories and historical context about individual vehicles. The collection represents decades of automotive passion, evolving from pieces initially displayed in the family's shop to a consolidated exhibition following the acquisition of the Speed Shop in 2018. The museum welcomes both automotive enthusiasts and casual visitors alike.
