Audubon Acres is a nature preserve in Chattanooga offering hiking trails, water access to South Chickamauga Creek for paddling, and exhibits including the Robert Myers Collection and C.E. Blevins Egg Collection. Visitors explore Maclellan Island, home to goats, along with Audubon Mountain and Mackey Branch Wetland. The preserve hosts Maclellan Island Eco Tours and programs such as the Little Owl Lecture Series, Birds, Brews, and BBQ, the Chickamauga Chili Championship, Walker Farm Pioneer Days featuring an 1800s blacksmith forge, and the Red Hawk Festival. Summer camps, group visits, birthday parties, scouting activities, and camping are available. Corporate experiences and facility rentals accommodate weddings and other events.
