Succop Nature Park is a 50-acre former farm estate in Butler, Pennsylvania, where visitors walk just under two miles of trails through varied habitats including two ponds. The park's main building is the T.W. Phillips Barn, originally built in 1883 and renovated into an education and visitor center with a large classroom and a nature play area behind it. The trails wind through successional fields with Grey Dogwood and Arrowwood Viburnum, past cattail marshes where birds nest, and along the back pond where turtles and dragonflies appear. The Catbird Loop and Connector Trail are among the named routes. The historic Marcraig House, nearly 200 years old, anchors the grounds. Visitors can attend nature programs throughout the year. Trails open from sunrise to sunset and remain free of charge. Dogs are permitted on trails when leashed. The park suits anyone seeking nature walks through woodland and wetland habitats.
