About Subpar Miniature Golf

Subpar Miniature Golf at Ghirardelli Square in San Francisco is an 19-hole miniature golf course themed around San Francisco landmarks. Players navigate holes designed at varying difficulty levels, from beginner-friendly to challenging layouts for experienced golfers. The facility offers standard golf play as well as Glow Golf, a special format with lowered lighting and increased music volume available on Friday and Saturday evenings after 7pm and select Sunday evenings after 6pm, during which light-up golf balls are used. The venue includes arcade games and serves food, beer, and wine. Tea Square boba tea is also available on-site. The facility accommodates walk-in groups when space permits, though advance booking is recommended, particularly on weekends and holidays. Groups larger than 12 golfers should inquire about event options. The location sits in Ghirardelli Square's Lower Plaza in San Francisco, California, and can host private events including company functions, school celebrations, and wedding receptions with full facility rental available.
