About SciTech Fox Valley

SciTech Fox Valley operates as a mobile STEM education program based in Batavia, Illinois, bringing hands-on science and technology activities directly to schools, community centers, and events throughout the Fox Valley area. Visitors participate in interactive STEMshops featuring themed challenges where young learners experiment and create while developing critical thinking skills. Specific programs include Microscopes and Magnifiers, Fingerprint Detectives, Crystal Creations, and Soundwave Studio, each designed for children ages five through eleven. The organization also offers STEM Preschool programming, homeschool classes, and a STEM Adventures Summer Camp. SciTech maintains a dedicated classroom and STEM Lab space where families can attend structured classes, use open lab hours, celebrate birthday parties, or participate in special events. The program suits children and families seeking hands-on exploration of science concepts through direct, interactive engagement rather than traditional museum exhibits.
