About Safari West

Safari West's Wildlife Enrichment Experience lets visitors board a safari vehicle to travel among herds of giraffes, rhinos, zebras, wildebeest, and cape buffalo across the preserve. Guests walk through a vast aviary housing dozens of bird species and encounter cheetahs, lemurs, and other animals along marked trails. The attraction offers overnight stays in luxury safari tents imported from Botswana, each with private viewing decks, en-suite bathrooms, and hardwood floors positioned within the preserve's natural soundscape. Dining options include a South African braai experience at the Savannah Café. Safari West hosts a Conservation Dinner Series in its elephant room, featuring talks by wildlife experts on topics ranging from jaguar conservation to insect ecology. The venue charges admission for safari tours, with tickets sold online. Family-friendly packages combine lodging, tours, and meals. Visitors can also adopt animals or access live cameras to observe wildlife remotely. Located in Santa Rosa, Safari West appeals to wildlife enthusiasts seeking immersive African safari experiences without international travel.
