About Sonoma Valley Museum of Art
Sonoma Valley Museum of Art in Sonoma offers changing exhibitions of fine art displayed in galleries visitors walk through at their own pace. The facility includes a 1,500-volume art library, an art studio where workshops are held, and a Museum Store carrying artful books, jewelry, educational toys, and bath and body products. Current exhibitions include works by artists such as John Paul Morabito and Norma I. Quintana. The museum hosts lectures, art instruction, school tours with guided visits, and family artmaking activities. SVUSD students K-12 and their teachers receive free admission for self-guided or guided visits. Located half a block from Sonoma's historic Town Plaza at 551 Broadway, the museum charges $10 general admission, with three verified discounts: admission is free every Wednesday, family admission for up to five people costs $15, and SVUSD students and teachers are admitted free.
