About Pacific Coast Air Museum

Pacific Coast Air Museum in Santa Rosa showcases the history of aviation through more than 35 historic aircraft displayed across a three-acre open-air facility at Charles M. Schulz–Sonoma County Airport. Visitors walk among legendary planes and explore indoor exhibits featuring stories of courage and innovation in flight. The museum offers open cockpit experiences where guests can look inside historic aircraft, and hands-on educational programs including school tours and field trips for students. The facility hosts special events throughout the year such as Hot Dog Thursday, a family-friendly gathering, and the Wheels and Wings Car Show combining automotive and aviation experiences. Educational offerings include a Youth Education Program, STEM Learning Program with real aircraft, Aviation Merit Badge classes for Scouts, and Aviation Summer School introducing aerospace careers. The museum also features aircraft restoration projects where volunteers preserve historic planes. A gift shop offers aviation-themed souvenirs, and group tours can be arranged by advance request for organizations and schools seeking deeper engagement with the museum's collection and aviation heritage.
