Redding Garden of Lights transforms Turtle Bay Exploration Park and the Sundial Bridge into an illuminated holiday display along the Sacramento River. More than two million lights cover ten acres of gardens, creating a walking experience through glowing tunnels, sparkling trees, and bright decorations. Specific attractions include the Peppermint Portal, a tunnel of multicolored twinkling lights, and an igloo-shaped outdoor structure that visitors can walk through. The Sundial Bridge itself becomes part of the display with full illumination against the night sky. Trees feature hanging chandeliers and string lights, while cone-shaped decorations glow throughout the grounds. Private heated igloos are available and include admission for eight guests, two gourmet pizzas, unlimited non-alcoholic drinks, a holiday keepsake, prismatic snowflake glasses, and hand warmers.
