About Redding Garden of Lights

Redding Garden of Lights transforms Turtle Bay Exploration Park with more than two million lights across ten acres of botanical gardens and the iconic Sundial Bridge along the Sacramento River. Visitors stroll through glowing tunnels, beneath illuminated trees, and past sparkling garden beds while taking in synchronized music and festive decorations. New for 2026, a European-style Christkindl Market offers holiday gifts, handmade crafts, seasonal food, and drinks around a 32-foot LED tree. Interactive features include Glowing Swings, a light-up Magic Wand that activates displays at twelve locations, a train ride, and a Polar Path. A Private Igloo Experience and cozy fire pits with s'mores provide additional warmth. A New Year's Eve Special Celebration features live music and a 9 p.m. countdown. The attraction suits families, couples, and holiday visitors seeking a blend of art and nature. Tickets start at eighteen dollars; children under two are free.
