Julia Morgan's Redwood Grove Estate & Garden Tours features guided historical walks through a remarkable Northern California estate designed by the renowned architect Julia Morgan. Visitors arrive by either strolling a paved riverside path or taking a shuttle to the main house, passing through a historic iron gate before descending the driveway. The 90- to 120-minute tour explores three historic buildings on the grounds while guides discuss Morgan's architectural vision, the estate's early residents, and the heritage of Benbow Valley. Guests stroll the gardens and grounds, enjoying views of the Eel River and surrounding redwoods. The walking tour navigates varied terrain including steps, gravel paths, and grassy areas. Tours are led by the Estate Manager or owner and offered Monday through Friday by advance reservation. The estate is located in Humboldt County, near Garberville, California.
