About Creative Catharsis

Creative Catharsis in Redding offers guided expressive art experiences designed to unlock emotions and transform them into visual artwork. Visitors work with experienced facilitators in a safe, supportive environment where they can freely express feelings from angst to zen by smashing, stomping, shooting, or slinging materials around. The process channels emotional energy onto canvas as participants throw, stomp, and pellet their way through sessions like "Just Smashing," witnessing their inner emotions take tangible shape. No drawing skills are required, and the experience combines emotionally supportive coaching with artful expression to help people release stress, process past hurts, or tap into artistic potential. The studio is located in Redding, California. Visitors who volunteer to video their experience and help build the venue's gallery receive 20 percent off, according to creative-catharsis.com.
