About Punxsutawney Weather Discovery Center

The Punxsutawney Weather Discovery Center teaches visitors about weather science and folklore in Punxsutawney, known as the Weather Capital of the World and home to Punxsutawney Phil. Interactive exhibits and scientific displays explore weather concepts, groundhog biology, and seasonal patterns. The center offers field trips and group packages designed for traditional classrooms, homeschool groups, and cyber school groups of ten or more. Visitors can arrange tours, video programs, and meet-and-greet opportunities with Punxsutawney Phil for larger visits. The center hosts special events and programs throughout the year. School groups can participate in the gift shop program, allowing students to pre-order souvenir items and receive complimentary gift bags. Free parking is available nearby.
