About Pullman Exhibit Hall

Pullman Exhibit Hall in Chicago's first national park offers visitors a free introduction to the history and legacy of the Pullman district through curated artifacts and rotating exhibits. Guests watch an 18-minute film featuring historic photographs and quotes, then explore exhibits highlighting the Pullman family, the town's development, and its impact on American industry, rail innovation, and urban design. The hall displays photographs and artifacts from the Pullman family and company, including exhibits such as "Railroaders: Jack Denalo's Homefront Photography," which documents men and women who kept the country moving during World War II. Guided walking tours of the Historic Pullman District depart from the hall and last approximately 90 minutes, exploring how Pullman's people shaped American labor movements and industrial development. Tour ticket holders receive discounted admission to the Exhibit Hall.
