About Darien Historical Society

The Darien Historical Society preserves and presents the history of Darien through the Old Lace Schoolhouse and Museum. Visitors explore archives and artifacts related to local history during open house visits. The museum displays Civil War-era pieces, including the 1861 Cass Flag, a well-preserved artifact with significant historical lineage.
