Chicago Gaelic Park is an Irish cultural center in Oak Forest where visitors experience traditional Irish sports, music, dance, and community events. The facility spans 53 acres and features GAA sports pitches where teams play Gaelic games. The Carraig, a traditional Irish pub on the grounds, hosts live music performances and jam sessions featuring local and visiting bands. Trad Thursday sessions welcome musicians and singers of all skill levels to perform traditional Irish music. The park offers children's Irish language classes for ages six through twelve on Sunday afternoons. Visitors can enjoy dinner-and-show events, live performances in the beer garden, and community gatherings in the three banquet halls and meeting rooms. The park also accommodates private events and weddings on its grounds. Established in 1985, the facility operates as the largest Irish cultural center in North America and welcomes all people to share in Irish culture and community traditions.
