About Pioneer Telephone Museum

Pioneer Arizona is a 90-acre open-air museum in northern Phoenix where visitors walk paved pathways through Pioneer Village, a collection of twenty historic buildings from territorial Arizona's 1863-1912 era. The museum includes original structures such as the log cabin where Arizona's first senator grew up and the Flying V ranch house. Visitors explore a Blacksmith Shop, Carpenter Shop, Dress Shop, and other period buildings displaying antiques and artifacts. The museum's Telephone History Museum is included with admission. Seasonally, costumed volunteers interpret life on the frontier. The Exhibit Hall displays firearms, tools, locks, and keys from the era. An Opera House, Mercantile, Bank, Sheriff's Office, Print Shop, and Community Church complete the village. Field trips are available for school groups. The museum is located off Interstate 17 near Anthem and publishes its hours and admission prices online.
