About Perico Preserve

Perico Preserve is a bird sanctuary spanning coastal wetlands, scrub hills, and upland habitats in Bradenton, Florida. Visitors explore the preserve on foot along walking trails, including a half-mile path with shaded seating. The site features a boardwalk, observation dock, and bird blind for wildlife viewing without disturbing resident birds and animals. Interpretive signage throughout the preserve explains the natural environment. Observation towers and outlooks provide vantage points for spotting wildlife.
