The Sarasota Children's Garden

About The Sarasota Children's Garden

The Sarasota Children's Garden invites visitors to sail The Pirate Queen, have tea in fairyland, and climb a tree fort in themed play spaces throughout the grounds. Kids explore a costume room for dress-up, create mud pies at the Woodland Cafe in Hobbitville, and run through cool mist in the rainforest. The garden hosts weekly storytime and craft programs, Junior Ranger activities, nature workshops, and seasonal celebrations including a dragon egg hunt. Most of the space sits outdoors under tree cover with water misters for cooling. Visitors aged 3 and up pay admission; infants and toddlers 2 and under visit free. The garden operates Wednesday through Sunday and closes Mondays and Tuesdays. Located in Sarasota, the garden suits families seeking imaginative outdoor play grounded in nature connection. Admission prices are published online at sarasotachildrensgarden.com.
