About St. Petersburg Museum of History

The St. Petersburg Museum of History presents exhibits and collections that chronicle the Sunshine City and Tampa Bay region across more than a century. Visitors explore the Flight One Gallery, which features the world's first commercial airline, and Schrader's Little Cooperstown, displaying 150 years of baseball history. Current exhibits include Civil Rights in the Sunshine City and Seminole People of Florida. The museum offers group tours and school field trips that address state standards in Social Studies, Language Arts, Visual Arts, and Science. Visitors can also participate in Historic Tours and Happy Hour with the Historian events. The museum is located at the entrance to the St. Pete Pier District in downtown St. Petersburg, with an attached restaurant called Perry's Porch serving lunch, dinner, and cocktails.
