About The James Museum of Western & Wildlife Art

The James Museum of Western & Wildlife Art in downtown St. Petersburg displays landscape paintings, sculptures, and Native-made objects spanning American Western art from 1900 onward. Visitors explore the Introductory Gallery with sweeping landscapes celebrating the American West, the Early West Gallery featuring iconic artists like Remington and Curtis, and the Native Life Gallery. The Wildlife Gallery, curated by the Earth & Humanity Foundation, showcases wildlife sculptures alongside the Cowboy Artists of America exhibition displaying bronze sculptures of cowboys on horseback. The New West Gallery presents colorful abstract and landscape paintings alongside mixed-media sculpture. The museum also features a jewelry gallery with pieces displayed in glass cases.
