About Palm Springs Art Museum

Palm Springs Art Museum houses rotating exhibitions including Found Objects and Objects in Art, Art of the West, and The Powers of Ten, alongside works by artists like Jean-Michel Basquiat and Ynez Johnston. Visitors view paintings, sculptures, and photographs across multiple galleries in the Main Museum. The Architecture and Design Center at the Edwards Harris Pavilion showcases modernist design and contemporary work. On the grounds stands the Aluminaire House, a 1931 modernist structure designed by Swiss architect Albert Frey, reconstructed from aluminum and glass components and viewable from outside. Children under 18 visit free. Admission is free on Thursdays from 5:00–8:00 pm, funded by the City of Palm Springs. Tickets are sold online through psmuseum.org.
