Pacific Park on the Santa Monica Pier is an amusement park featuring rides and games open daily in Santa Monica, California. Visitors can ride the Pacific Wheel, the world's first solar-powered Ferris wheel, which rises more than 130 feet above the pier and displays over 174,000 energy-efficient LED lights in evening light programs. The Sea Dragon is a swinging ship with dragon-head details that swings in a 180-degree arc, giving riders 40-foot drops. The Pacific Plunge is a 44-foot drop tower that lifts riders 90 feet over Santa Monica Bay before plunging toward the pier deck. Younger guests can ride the Frog Hopper, a smaller drop ride. Inkie's Wave Jumper is a rotating surf ride that seats up to 24 children or a combination of children and adults. The park also offers food and retail outlets, with hours varying by location. Admission is charged, and tickets are sold online through the venue's website.
