About Mount Dora Transit and Tours
Mount Dora Transit and Tours operates narrated sightseeing tours through historic downtown Mount Dora in stretch limo electric carts. The Historic Downtown Cart Tour introduces visitors to landmarks and local secrets of the 1800s settlement, including the intricate homes built by early settlers and the Big Chair monument. Guides share stories about famous and infamous characters who passed through town and explain local curiosities, such as the ice cube statue next to the Marina. During the Christmas season, the Christmas Lights Tour showcases the town's holiday displays featuring millions of lights and a three-story Christmas tree. The company operates two electric carts that each accommodate seven people, with guides available seven days a week. Those needing transportation around downtown can flag down a cart for a ride when tours are not in progress. Mount Dora Transit and Tours is located in Mount Dora, Florida.
