About Native Tours

Native Tours offers boat excursions on the Harris Chain of Lakes in the Tavares area. Visitors board a vessel with Captain Ray, a U.S. Coast Guard-licensed captain with expertise in Florida wildlife and waterways, for an hour-and-a-half journey beginning from Lake Eustis. The tour travels down the Dora Canal, known for its majestic scenery, and continues to Lake Dora before returning to the starting point. Along the way, passengers observe the natural wildlife and landscape characteristic of Lake County. Captain Ray customizes private tours to meet individual visitor needs. The operation accommodates groups ranging from two to six people per boat and welcomes pets aboard. Summer early cruises and sunset cruises are available by request.
