About Manatee County Agricultural Museum

The Manatee County Agricultural Museum in Palmetto invites visitors to explore exhibits and artifacts documenting the region's farming heritage. Current exhibits include Dairy Days of Manatee County, The Model T, the Manatee Crate Company, The Art of Regina Stahl Briskey, and a Hall of Fame Feature Exhibit. The museum operates an outdoor sensory garden with a wooden ramp accessible from the main entrance via paved sidewalks. Programming includes Hands-On Homeschool Morning sessions and Ag After Dark, an adults-only evening focused on plants. The facility is fully wheelchair accessible and step-free throughout. Admission is free, though the museum suggests donations. The museum is located at 1015 6th Street West in Palmetto and opens Tuesday through Friday and on the first and third Saturday of each month. Parking is available in front of Palmetto Historical Park and in the city lot behind the Palmetto Public Library, both free.
