About Land of Milk and Honey Farms, LLC
Land of Milk and Honey Farm in Deep Gap offers guided farm tours that let visitors experience daily agricultural life in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The farm raises alpacas, Katahdin hair sheep, East Friesian milk sheep, beef cattle, Jersey milk cows, miniature donkeys, Meishan and Kunekune pasture pigs, chickens, ducks, geese, and quail. On-site, honeybees are kept and honey is bottled in the farm's processing house. The farm produces beef, pork, lamb, eggs, honey, and baked goods including candy, caramels, cookies, and marshmallows, along with handmade beeswax candles, leather goods, and skincare items. Visitors can also stay overnight through vacation rental houses on or near the property, with some offering views of livestock in paddocks. The farm operates as a Harvest Hosts location for RV stays, complete with shower facilities and laundry. Farm tours are available several days weekly and can be booked online through the venue's website.
