About Tweetsie Railroad

Tweetsie Railroad operates a Wild West Theme Park Adventure in Blowing Rock where visitors board a historic steam locomotive for entertainment shows, classic amusement rides, gold panning, and access to the Deer Park Zoo. The Mouse Mine Train and Wild West Train offer rides accessible to standard wheelchairs, with the second train car equipped with an accessibility ramp. Guests can explore the park's Steam Locomotive Shop or ride a bus continually running from the Tweetsie Palace up to Miners Mountain. Seasonal events include Ghost Train on Friday and Saturday nights and Tweetsie Christmas on select evenings. The park suits families with children and operates Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm. Tweetsie Railroad is located in Blowing Rock, North Carolina. AAA members receive discounted admission tickets with valid ID purchased at the Ticket Office. Golden Rail Season Pass holders save twenty dollars off admission during Ghost Train or Tweetsie Christmas, with the site listing these offers through December 31. Tickets are sold online at tweetsie.com.
