Joliet Iron Works Historic Site is a 52-acre preserve in Joliet featuring remnants of the region's former iron manufacturing facility set along the Des Plaines River. The preserve connects to the 7.57-mile I&M Canal Trail, which accommodates hiking, running, biking, in-line skating, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing.
