About Heritage & Science Park

Heritage & Science Park in downtown Phoenix is a community gathering space built on Block 14 of historic Phoenix, featuring late nineteenth and early twentieth century buildings on the traditional territory of the O'Odham and Piipaash peoples. The centerpiece is the iconic Rosson House Museum, which visitors explore through guided museum tours and walking tours of the surrounding grounds. The park includes the Lath House Pavilion, lush gardens with rose plantings, award-winning restaurants, and unique shops in restored historic structures. Visitors can dine at on-site restaurants, browse the museum store, and attend seasonal events like festivals and artisan markets. The park serves as a hub for informal education about Phoenix's past, present, and future, offering a setting where families and individuals can learn about local history while enjoying the gardens and amenities throughout the property.
