About Hale Farm & Village

Hale Farm & Village is a living history museum in Akron where visitors explore 19th century life in the Western Reserve through 34 historic structures, farm animals, and period gardens. Costumed interpreters demonstrate traditional crafts and trades while providing insight into daily farm activities. The museum, operated by the Western Reserve Historical Society, sits within Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Visitors walk through the village to observe how people lived and worked during that era.
