About Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens

Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens is a historic 65-room Tudor Revival Manor House set on 70 acres of landscaped grounds in Akron. Visitors tour the Manor House, which features the Great Hall and Music Room, through guided tours that reveal how the Seiberling family lived. The Nooks & Crannies Tour explores back-of-house spaces, hidden passages, and staff quarters. A Garden History Tour highlights the West Terrace, English Garden, and restored Lagoon. The estate includes a Gothic Revival Conservatory, the Gate Lodge, and Molly's Giftshop. Seasonal activities include Murder in the Mansion interactive events, Family Yoga, Vintage Base Ball games, and Woof Walks. The Courtyard Cafe provides refreshment during visits. Guided Manor House tours occur throughout the day, while admission includes self-guided access to gardens, the conservatory, and gate lodge.
