Akron Fossils & Science Center in Copley offers hands-on science education through three guided tours where visitors explore fossils and natural history. On the Fossil Fun Tour, guests hold and touch real fossils. The Fossil Replica Making Tour teaches visitors to create a take-home trilobite replica. The Animal Adventures Tour features interaction with live animals. Beyond tours, the center offers educational programs including Simply Science, Studies, and S.T.E.A.M. classes for homeschooled students in grades K-12, summer day camps themed by topic for grades K-6, and Super Science Saturday events for younger students. Birthday parties with themed activities are available on Saturdays. The facility includes a two-acre outdoor park accessible with admission and a 200-foot zipline as an add-on. The center also houses the Creation Education Museum. Educational Days can be customized for groups. The center charges admission and publishes its prices online.
