The Flying Leatherneck Aviation Museum preserves and displays the aviation history of the U.S. Marine Corps through its collection of historic aircraft and artifacts. Founded in 1989 by retired Marines in San Diego, the museum has served as a repository for USMC aviation heritage, honoring the service and sacrifices of Marine aviators. The museum hosts educational programs that connect visitors of all ages with American history and bring civilian and military communities together. The Flying Leatherneck Historical Foundation operates the museum with the mission of strengthening America by inspiring appreciation for the nation's freedoms and values through the stories of Marine aviation. The collection includes restored aircraft, artifacts, and machinery that document decades of Marine flying operations. The museum is transitioning to a new facility at Great Park in Irvine, California, where immersive exhibits and expanded programs are planned to continue this legacy of preservation and education.
We check this attraction’s own website for offers. The last time we read flyingleathernecks.org, on , there was no offer on it that we could verify.
The page stays here because the attraction is still worth knowing about, and because we keep checking. If a deal appears on their site, it appears here.
