Florida Botanical Gardens spans 100 acres of formal gardens, scenic landscapes, and native habitats in Largo, Florida. Visitors walk through the grounds to explore themed garden areas, including a two-acre Majeed Discovery Garden designed for children with eight interactive play spaces. The Musical Forest features life-size instruments including chimes and drums. Pollinator Landing offers a honeycomb-like climbing structure with a stage for imaginative play. Additional play areas throughout the garden encourage hands-on exploration. The gardens include a Butterfly Landing classroom, a Wetlands Walkway, and a sensory garden. Educational programs serve over 1,500 local students annually through field trips focused on environmental learning. Environmental classes and workshops run throughout the year for visitors of all ages. The grounds offer accessible paved paths, picnic areas, and two on-site parking lots. General admission is free, and the gardens open daily.
