Engelke Farm, Troy

About Engelke Farm

Engelke Farm is a 130-acre family-run producer farm in Troy, New York, where visitors pick their own pumpkins, gourds, and winter squash, or cut sunflowers and zinnias directly from the fields. Fall transforms the farm into a seasonal destination featuring hayrides to the pumpkin patch, a corn maze, and homemade apple cider donuts from the Cider Donut Shack, along with apple cider and cider slushies. The farm also offers a 1.5-mile walking trail along Poestenkill Creek, rescue farm animals to meet and feed, and fall decorations including straw bales, corn stalks, and handmade wreaths. In spring, the on-site nursery stocks geraniums, annuals, perennials, hanging baskets, vegetable and herb starts, and Mother's Day arrangements. Summer brings fresh harvested produce. Dogs are welcome throughout the farm. The operation is run by a husband-and-wife team with their three children on land they have tended for twenty years.
