About Captain JP Cruise Lines
Captain JP Cruise Lines operates the Captain JP III, a three-deck dinner boat that hosts scenic cruises down the Hudson River from Troy, New York. Visitors board for three-hour voyages featuring live entertainment from Capital District bands and DJs, dining prepared in the ship's galley, full-service bars, and dancing on multiple dance floors throughout the vessel. The boat accommodates up to 600 passengers across climate-controlled enclosed decks that seat up to 350 for dinner and open-air decks for strolling or dancing under the stars. Cruises include Friday evening music events, Sunday afternoon brunches, and private party options. Panoramic views of the Hudson are available from anywhere aboard. Tickets are sold online through the venue's website. The operation marks its 39th season in upstate New York and schedules events throughout the summer months.
