Chico Air Museum displays aircraft spanning nearly a century, from the World War I SPAD XIII to the Antonov AN-2 Russian Biplane, with planes positioned indoors and outdoors for close viewing. The collection includes a Grumman Guardian (one of only six in the world), a Vietnam War Chance Vought A-7 Corsair, a MiG-15, an F-15C Eagle, and a North American F-86 Sabre, alongside helicopters, trainers, and the Consolidated Vultee BT-13 Valiant from the historic Chico Army Airfield. Exhibits feature classic flight uniforms, historical flight logs, and NASA space artifacts. The museum hosts an annual Fly-In attracting pilots nationwide and an aviation speaker series featuring past guests like WWII Triple Ace Clarence Anderson, SR-71 Blackbird pilot Brian Schul, and Blue Angels pilot Vance Parker.
