About Chico Air Museum

Chico Air Museum in Chico, California houses a collection spanning nearly 100 years of aviation history. Visitors examine aircraft in indoor and outdoor spaces, viewing planes from the SPAD XIII World War I biplane to the Antonov AN-2 Russian biplane. The collection includes the Chance Vought A-7 Corsair from the Vietnam War, North American F-86 Sabre, MiG-15, F-15C Eagle, Bell 47 helicopter, Piasecki H-21 helicopter, and the Grumman Guardian, one of only six in the world. A Consolidated Vultee BT-13 Valiant, an iconic trainer from World War II and Chico Army Airfield, is also on display. Multiple exhibits feature classic uniforms, flight logs from historical flights, and NASA and space artifacts. The museum hosts an annual Fly-In drawing pilots from across the country and welcomes school visits and tours.
