Patrick Ranch Museum preserves the agricultural heritage of the region through its collection, rotating exhibits, and interpretive displays housed on 28 acres between Chico and Durham. Visitors tour the 1877 Glenwood Farmhouse, furnished with period antiques and artifacts from the last ranch owner, Hester Patrick. The museum includes a Visitor Center, Gift Shop, and multiple barns displaying a collection of historic farming equipment and machinery, including a hay-maker and windmill. Educational programs and volunteer opportunities allow deeper engagement with the ranch's history and preservation. The museum opened to the public in 2010 after being bequeathed to the Far West Heritage Association, and continues to evolve as additional items from the Patrick collection enter public view. A visit suits families and history enthusiasts interested in understanding early California ranching life through hands-on exploration of restored buildings and period furnishings. The museum is located in Durham, California.
