The Honeybee Discovery Center in Orland, California showcases the anatomy and biology of honeybees through interactive exhibits and hands-on learning experiences. The museum's primary exhibit, BEE-NATOMY 101, offers an in-depth exploration of honeybee anatomy, featuring newly added hands-on elements that allow visitors to engage directly with educational displays. The center educates guests about honeybees' ecological importance, highlighting that one-third of the food people eat depends directly or indirectly on honeybee pollination. The Honeybee Discovery Center participates in regional educational events and community partnerships, including presentations at local venues such as Hodge's Family Nursery, where homeschool students can attend learning stations designed for all grade levels. The center maintains an active presence at regional events including the NorCal Honey Bee Expo and the Chico Renaissance and Fantasy Faire, where staff maintain informational booths. Located in downtown Orland, the museum operates on a limited schedule throughout the year.
We check this attraction’s own website for offers. The last time we read honeybeediscoverycenter.org, on , there was no offer on it that we could verify.
The page stays here because the attraction is still worth knowing about, and because we keep checking. If a deal appears on their site, it appears here.
