About Baylands Quarter Midget Racing Club

Baylands Quarter Midget Racing Club in San Jose provides children ages 5-17 with opportunities to drive quarter midget cars on a dedicated racing track. The club operates as a nonprofit organization offering a safe environment for young racers in the San Francisco Bay Area. Visitors can participate in Trial Drives, which include an instructional session, a track walk, and 10-15 laps around the track. During the experience, participants learn about the cars, track and racing rules, the club's operations, and what racing involvement requires. The club supplies all necessary safety gear for drivers. Children should wear closed-toed shoes and pants for their session. Those interested in regular racing can register through the club's race registration system. The Baylands Quarter Midget Racing Association also schedules competitive racing events throughout the season for registered members.
