About Zilker Botanical Garden

Zilker Botanical Garden occupies 28 fenced acres within Zilker Metropolitan Park in downtown Austin, where visitors walk interconnected pathways through themed gardens including the Taniguchi Japanese Garden, Hartman Prehistoric Garden, and Rose Garden. The grounds feature heritage live oaks, streams, and koi-filled ponds that create peaceful spaces throughout the property.
