About Tucson Botanical Gardens

Tucson Botanical Gardens is an urban oasis featuring twenty themed garden spaces set on the historic Porter Family property in Tucson, Arizona. Visitors explore specialty gardens that highlight plant diversity uncommon to the Sonoran Desert landscape, including trees planted by the original family over eighty years ago. The Gardens hosts rotating gallery exhibitions such as Tapestries from Egypt and Tropical Flora of Costa Rica, displayed in the Bonnie L. Bradford Gallery and Zen Gallery. The upcoming YUME Japanese Gardens will open to the public as an additional attraction. Visitors can enjoy Family Garden Story Time sessions held in the Education Classroom, featuring nature-themed stories and sensory activities for children. The Gardens also offers classes and events covering gardening, wellness, art, nature, and ecology. The Great Garden Express operates on select days, and Edna's Eatery provides refreshment options. A gift shop allows visitors to purchase take-home items. The grounds are open daily, with tickets sold online through the venue's website.
