About The Wilderness Center

The Wilderness Center in Wilmot, Ohio is a nature preserve where visitors explore 12 miles of hiking trails across 600 acres of protected forest and restored habitat. The headquarters building serves as a focal point for outdoor learning and recreation. An Astronomy Education Building features a digital planetarium and observatory for stargazing programs. The Nature Playscape offers hands-on exploration for younger visitors. A Native Plant Nursery sells native flowers, grasses, shrubs, and trees that support birds and pollinators.
