About The Little Farm

The Little Farm is a working farm in the Redlands area of Miami where visitors hand-feed and interact with farm animals including goats, sheep, pigs, cows, horses, ponies, rabbits, geese, ducks, hens, roosters, and turkeys. Admission includes hand-led pony rides, access to the Butterfly Garden where visitors observe eggs, larvae, pupae, and adult butterflies in their natural habitat, and use of the Play Field across a half-acre of land. The farm also features an Apiary serving as a sanctuary for honeybees and a Snacking Garden. Visitors can explore the farm on select weekend dates with hours published online. Field trips and private tours for schools and groups are available by appointment during the week, with activities including goat milking and educational presentations about agriculture and the butterfly life cycle. The farm operates as an agri-education model emphasizing hands-on experiences connecting people, animals, and sustainable land stewardship.
